The Mariakapel 'Our Lady of Lourdes' is located in the village of Tilligte. This charming 'country chapel' was built in 2003 by dedicated volunteers and has since secured a special place in the hearts of believers. Every year, Tilligte welcomes more than 25,000 pilgrims who come to honor Mary, express gratitude, or seek her intercession.

The consecration of the chapel was a grand event, and even twenty years later, many clergy still journey to this special place. On a daily basis, around fifty votive candles are lit. Pilgrims purchase these candles, and they must burn completely during the novena. Additionally, there are more than ten books where questions and expressions of gratitude to Mary are written.

A visit to Ootmarsum-Dinkelland is not complete without visiting this unique place.
