Melkbeernke is a real 'Twents' restaurant in the heart of Denekamp. All dishes on the menu are prepared with local and regional products as much as possible.
Melkbeernke likes to tell the story of Twente and therefore connects with local and regional farmers, growers and producers. No mass products, but ingredients that are supplied by people with a passion for the product and for the region and who guarantee high quality. This also means that a lot of seasonal products are used and that the menu is therefore constantly changing.
Melkbeernke buys directly from local and regional producers and offers them a good price, not dependent on wholesalers.
And where the name Melkbeernke comes from? That is the nickname of grandfather Bernhard Oude Egbrink, once the man who collected milk from the farmers for the milk factory. Bernhard's nickname later also became owner and chef Roy's nickname.
