Opening of St. Plechelmus Church and Castle Garden
The St. Plechelmus church in Saasveld and the accompanying castle garden, a remnant of the former Saterslo castle, will also be open to the public in 2020.
The St-Plechelmuskerk has been known for years for its beautiful stained glass windows, all made by the Oldenzaal glazier and painter Jan Schoenaker. In addition, the Stations of the Cross made of linden wood can be admired. During the opening, employees are present for explanation. There is also the option of a guided tour on weekdays in groups.
