Stiftfestival 2024
From August 17 to 25, the Twente Abbey Festival will transport you to Mediterranean spheres. A diverse and colorful program, accessible and innovative. The program combines music with other cultural forms such as song, literature, art and dance.
Artistic director Daniel Rowland has put together an exciting and diverse program full of concerts featuring over 45 international musicians playing in varied lineups. From August 17 to 25, there are over 30 concerts to attend. Check www.stiftmusicfestival.nl for the program.
About Stiftfestival
Stiftfestival offers a musical experience in the Twente countryside of international excellence. The program combines chamber music with other cultural forms such as singing, literature and art. Historic churches and estates in beautiful Twente form the backdrop for this annual nine-day festival in August. The Stift with its centuries-old Stiftskerk in Weerselo forms the heart of the festival, alongside special locations such as Twickel Castle, the Enschede synagogue or Singraven estate. The Stiftfestival is an iconic event in the province of Overijssel.
